Sarah attended the University of Louisiana at Lafayette from 2015 to 2018, graduating Cum Laude and receiving a Bachelors of Art in English with a minor in Philosophy.
As an undergraduate, she was awarded the distinguished freshman scholarship, certificate of achievement for academic excellence, as well as the Alpha Omicron Pi Bancroft-Dupe Endowed English Scholarship. She was also nominated as outstanding freshman in 2015.
As a law student, Sarah was the recipient of the SULC private scholarship, Law School Scholarship, and the Martinet & Cochran Scholarship, and awarded the CALI Excellence for the Future Award in Advanced Legal Writing. After completing an advanced legal writing class, she was asked by her advanced legal writing professor to be his research assistant for the upcoming year. She worked alongside him as a research assistant as a 3L student.
